Promoting Win-Win for Cosmetic Franchise Stores... Continuous Launches by Nature Collection

[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] Nature Collection, a beauty lifestyle select shop under LG Household & Health Care, sells various beauty brands from LG Household & Health Care and The Face Shop, including Dr. Belmeur, Yehwadam, Su:m37, and IsNox. Since opening its first store in February 2016 under the concept of "adding the beauty of nature to everyday life," Nature Collection has steadily increased the number of stores and currently operates about 450 stores nationwide.

Additionally, Nature Collection revamped its existing direct management mall into an integrated platform on July 1, 2020, where franchise stores can share sales and profits. This platform aims to foster mutual growth with cosmetics franchise stores struggling to attract customers amid the recent surge in non-face-to-face consumption trends. Nature Collection provides clean beauty and derma cosmetics that keep pace with trends, based on LG Household & Health Care's excellent technology and product quality.

In particular, popular products such as Dr. Belmeur's "Advanced Cica Moisturizing Cream" and fmgt's "Ink Lasting Foundation" are loved by customers due to their high reliability. Celebrating its 6th anniversary this year, Nature Collection plans to carry out various activities to enhance consumer value and launch new products, while continuously promoting mutual growth with franchise stores and focusing on the synergy effect between offline stores and the online mall.

LG Household & Health Care operates the "Green Product Review Council" to implement sustainable eco-friendly packaging. Chaired by the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of the Consumer Safety Center, the council is composed of departments such as design, packaging research, purchasing, business divisions, and product planning, and is responsible for overall operations in the environmental safety sector. The Green Product Review Council enforces the "Green Packaging Guide" to develop and apply environmentally considerate packaging materials from the product development stage. The Green Packaging Guide quantitatively evaluates the weight, volume, material, and recyclability of packaging materials to assess the eco-friendliness of products before launching new products. The results of the green packaging evaluation are categorized into container weight reduction, material improvement, and recyclability improvement, serving as standards to enhance the eco-friendliness of the respective packaging materials.
