[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 27th that it will recruit candidates for the 'Youth Employment Housing Cost Support Project' from the 3rd to the 25th of next month to alleviate the housing cost burden of working youth in the region.
This project supports working youth in the province with 100,000 KRW per month for housing costs for up to one year, and the number of recruits is 13.
Eligibility requirements include being aged 18 to 39, residing in a Jeonse (deposit loan of 50 million KRW or more) or monthly rent housing (60 million KRW or less) in the province, having worked or operated a business in the province for at least 3 months within the last 6 months, and having a household income recognized as 150% or less of the median income, among other conditions.
Applicants wishing to apply should contact the Youth Support Team of the Population and Job Policy Office.
A county official said, "We hope this support will help economically independent young people without housing who want to settle in Yeonggwang-gun but are burdened with housing costs."
