"Full Effort on Quarantine" Hapcheon-gun Urgently Implements Quarantine Measures at Lodging and Restaurants Used by Winter Training Athletes

Gyeongnam Hapcheon-gun is conducting emergency disinfection of accommodations and restaurants used by athletes for winter training.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 28th that it conducted emergency disinfection of accommodations and restaurants used by winter training athletes.

This emergency disinfection was a measure taken in response to the rapid increase of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in Hapcheon-gun, and was carried out jointly with the Hapcheon-gun Football Association.

The inspection items included guidance on compliance with disinfection in hygiene establishments such as facility disinfection status and hygiene management of workers, and requested courteous and clean service quality improvement to ensure that visitors including athletes do not experience any inconvenience.

A Hapcheon-gun official stated, “During the training camp period, we will focus all efforts on disinfection to ensure that both residents and athletes can feel safe, designating facilities used by athletes as priority management targets and planning to conduct regular guidance and inspections.”
