Korea Housing Finance Corporation Holds 'Cooler and Warmer Off, Environment ON' Event for Energy Saving

[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] Korea Housing Finance Corporation is conducting an event encouraging energy saving in daily life.

Korea Housing Finance Corporation announced on the 27th that it will participate in the 'Turn off water coolers, turn on the environment' event.

Accordingly, contents such as 'cutting standby power' and 'Turn off water coolers, turn on the environment' will be spread through social network services (SNS) like Facebook.

Choi Jun-woo, President of Korea Housing Finance Corporation, said, "Starting with public institutions minimizing standby power of electronic devices, we will practice energy saving in daily life to reduce carbon emissions and actively participate in the government's 2050 carbon neutrality policy." He added, "I hope this event will help spread the atmosphere of practicing energy saving in daily life throughout society."

President Choi joined this event upon the recommendation of Kwon Hyung-taek, President of Housing and Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG). He recommended Kim Jong-hwa, Director of Busan International Finance Promotion Agency, as the next participant.
