[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Samsung Life Insurance announced on the 27th that it has signed a business agreement with the mobile healthcare platform 'Goodoc'.
The signing ceremony took place at the Samsung Life Insurance conference room in Seocho-dong, Seoul.
The two companies explained that they plan to collaborate to develop insurance products utilizing customers' life log data and to provide health promotion services.
Goodoc is the number one hospital reservation service provider, partnering with over 4,000 hospitals and serving 1.5 million customers monthly.
Goodoc is currently developing non-face-to-face medical treatment and insurance claim services, and Samsung Life Insurance expects that collaboration with Goodoc will enable the development of innovative services.
The two companies will develop insurance products and services based on customers' life data and provide health promotion solutions utilizing hospital reservation service linkage, thereby advancing their digital healthcare business model.
A Samsung Life Insurance official stated, "Through collaboration with Goodoc, we will develop innovative services combining finance and digital technology and continue new attempts to enhance customer convenience."
