[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] Woori Bank announced on the 27th that it will publish a book titled 'DT! (Digital Transformation) Our Future' and distribute it to all employees to strengthen their digital capabilities.
The book contains comprehensive digital knowledge essential for Woori Bank employees to lead the financial market and leap forward as a financial platform company, based on their understanding of digital technology, as well as Woori Bank's digital business and strategies.
In addition to publishing the book, Woori Bank plans to develop various training programs to enhance employees' digital capabilities. The bank is also striving to transform employees into digital experts by fostering digital professionals through industry-academia cooperation. It conducts its own 'Woori Bank DT Test' to assess employees' digital literacy.
In the foreword, Kwon Kwang-seok, CEO of Woori Bank, stated, "Recent environmental changes have significantly altered the way customers, the reason for Woori Bank's existence, manage their financial lives," and emphasized, "We must rapidly achieve digital transformation (DT) to accurately understand customer needs and have the ability to immediately provide the services they want."
