LG Display Reports 29% Decrease in Operating Profit in 4Q Last Year

[Asia Economy Reporter Ji Yeon-jin] LG Display announced on the 26th that its operating profit in the fourth quarter of last year decreased by 29.7% to 4,764.3 billion KRW.

During this period, sales increased by 17.5% to 8,806.5 billion KRW, but net profit sharply declined by 70.8% to 179.5 billion KRW.

For the full year on a consolidated basis, sales increased by 23.1% to 29,878 billion KRW, and operating profit turned positive to 2,230.6 billion KRW. Net profit also turned positive to 1,333.5 billion KRW.
