Sh Suhyup Bank to Suspend Financial Services During Lunar New Year Holiday Due to "IT System Replacement" Impact

[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] Sh Suhyup Bank announced on the 26th that it will temporarily suspend financial services during the Lunar New Year holiday for pre-inspection and data upgrade due to the introduction of a new computer system.

The suspension period is from 11:30 PM on the 28th to midnight on the 31st. During this period, financial transaction services using Suhyup Bank accounts and systems such as ▲Internet Banking ▲Smartphone Banking (Partner Bank, Hey Bank) ▲Telebanking ▲Automated Teller Machines (ATM) will be suspended.

However, credit card approval transactions (up to 1 million KRW per day, excluding check cards) and customer support center (1588-1515) incident reports, which are not affected by the computer system replacement, will be available.

A Suhyup Bank official said, “If you need to conduct financial transactions such as cash deposits/withdrawals or payment fund transfers, please make sure to complete them by the 28th.”
