[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] Ewha Womans University Graduate School of Business announced on the 26th that it is recruiting candidates for the 4th session of the 'Women Outside Director Specialized Course.'
The 4th session will be held from March 5 to June 11, spanning a total of 15 weeks, every Saturday from 1 PM to 4 PM. After 4 PM, there will be free networking time. Graduates of the course will receive a certificate of completion signed by the President of Ewha Womans University and the Dean of the Graduate School of Business. Additionally, they will be granted eligibility to join the pool of female outside director candidates recommended by Ewha Womans University Graduate School of Business to companies.
Eligibility requirements include being a member of the Korean Women Journalists Association with at least 3 years of activity, having worked in the media industry such as newspapers, domestic broadcasters, or communication companies for over 7 years, and having no experience of receiving research support from other foundations for more than 6 months within the last 5 years. Candidates interested in female outside director positions and female director systems are also eligible. The first round of selection will be based on document screening, followed by review and selection by a separately formed evaluation committee.
The application period for the 4th session is from the 7th to the 18th of next month. Applicants must submit an application form, career description, self-introduction letter, and training plan.
