Interest in Tromatz Toothbrush Using 'Microcurrent' Amid Home Care Trends

Interest in Tromatz Toothbrush Using 'Microcurrent' Amid Home Care Trends [Proxy Healthcare 'Tromatz']

Due to the prolonged COVID-19 situation, homecare for managing health independently at home is rapidly emerging as a new 'home' trend. As the time spent at home increases, the number of self-care devices for managing health indoors is growing, leading to a surge in demand for homecare devices utilizing microcurrent technology.

The microcurrent used in homecare devices is a weak electric current similar in form to the bioelectric currents flowing through the human body. It is known to have effects on cell regeneration and activation, similar to the bioelectric currents responsible for cell regeneration, activation, and pain reduction in the body. Accordingly, various homecare devices using microcurrent technology have recently gained attention in the health and beauty fields.

Proxi Healthcare's 'Tromatz' (CEO Kim Young-wook) is a toothbrush that removes microbial biofilms using microcurrent technology to eliminate tartar and plaque and improve periodontal disease. Clinical results showing improvement in gum inflammation within just two weeks have been published in an international academic journal.

Tromatz removes plaque from every corner of the mouth that a toothbrush cannot reach through electrical signal stimulation. Proxi Healthcare holds over 110 domestic and international patents registered or applied for related to Tromatz toothbrush's microcurrent technology, including publications in Nature Research. It has also obtained global certifications such as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and the European Community Mark (CE). Last year, it won three consecutive ministerial awards from government departments and expanded into the world's largest e-commerce platform, Amazon, establishing itself as a technology-driven innovative startup.

To celebrate this Lunar New Year, Tromatz has launched the 'Tromatz Simple Seol Gift Set.' Designed for easy portability and lightweight use, this simple microcurrent toothbrush and toothpaste set can be used anytime and anywhere, suitable for children with weak gums, the elderly, orthodontic patients, and implant users.
