Gokseong-gun Takes Steps to Support Improvement of Small Business Management Environment

Applications Accepted Until February 16 for Business Location Certificates

Up to 7 Million KRW Support for Improvement Costs

[Gokseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Cha Jong-sun] Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it is recruiting candidates for the Small Business Management Environment Improvement Support Project (hereinafter referred to as the 'Small Business Support Project') until February 16.

The Small Business Support Project is a program that supports small business owners by providing funds for facility improvements or equipment purchases to improve their business conditions.

In the case of facility improvements, support covers store expansions or repairs such as restrooms, kitchens, and signboards, while equipment purchase support is available for machines and equipment directly necessary for business activities.

The support amount is up to 7 million KRW per business within 70% of the total project cost.

Within the maximum support amount, applicants can apply for a combination of facility improvements and equipment purchases, but equipment purchase support is limited to 2 million KRW.

Eligible applicants are small business owners who have operated a business in Gokseong-gun for more than six months as of the announcement date (January 26, 2022) according to their business registration certificate.

Applicants will be selected based on high scores considering national and local tax payment records and business operation periods.

However, businesses that have received support for the same or similar projects in the past five years, those unable to prove last year's sales, those with national or local tax arrears, and businesses that are temporarily closed or permanently shut down are excluded from support.

Also, if operating multiple business locations, applicants can only apply for one business location.

To apply for support, applicants must submit the application form and required documents to the town or township office where the business is located between January 26 and February 16.
