Soundpinetree (CEO Yoon Jae-han) announced on the 25th that it has signed a business agreement with Shinan University (President Kang Seong-rak) to foster the beauty industry and cultivate professionals. Through this agreement, both parties will jointly promote academic research and expand industry-academia networks, and co-develop beauty-related content to be provided on Soundpinetree’s beauty integrated platform BLINK, scheduled to launch this year.
Additionally, Soundpinetree will operate an internship program for students of Shinan University’s Beauty Design Department using the BLINK service, and Shinan University will cooperate in global business when BLINK expands overseas to jointly nurture global talent in the beauty industry.
Soundpinetree is developing the world’s first beauty integrated platform app, BLINK. Through this integrated platform, it aims to unify the fragmented beauty market so that beauty professionals can more easily access information, receive products at reasonable prices, and enhance the value of expertise to support value-added creation. Using patented technologies such as copyright protection for beauty creations, it supports additional revenue generation for small business owners in the beauty industry, and plans various services to build networks for livelihood stability and promote a virtuous cycle in the industrial economy.

Kang Seong-rak, President of Shinan University, said, “I think it is very encouraging that an integrated platform for the beauty industry is being developed. Through this agreement, Shinan University’s Beauty Design Department intends to share the university’s infrastructure to support the cultivation of global beauty talent, and we hope this will further contribute to the national industrial economy.”
BLINK, Soundpinetree’s beauty specialized platform app, whose name is a compound of ‘Beautician’ and ‘Link’ and provides an organically connected, three-dimensional customized service across the entire beauty industry, is scheduled to start beta service in July this year and officially open in September.
