[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Korea GM's global brand Chevrolet announced that it will start pre-orders for the new Traverse, which features upgraded design and convenience specifications and adds the top trim 'High Country' to the lineup, on the 26th.
The Traverse is a large sport utility vehicle (SUV) that was first introduced in Korea in 2019. It is characterized by powerful driving performance, the largest body size and interior space in its class, and towing capability.
It is equipped as standard with a high-performance 3.6L 6-cylinder direct injection gasoline engine (maximum output 314 horsepower, maximum torque 36.8 kg·m), Hydra-Matic 9-speed automatic transmission, and a switchable AWD system that can switch between front-wheel and rear-wheel drive at any time.
All models come standard with 'Adaptive Cruise Control,' which automatically adjusts the distance to the vehicle ahead when a driving speed is set and includes stop and restart functions; 'Digital Surround Vision Camera,' which allows real-time viewing of the vehicle's exterior from all angles with four cameras; and 'Wireless Phone Projection,' which automatically connects wirelessly to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay when boarding the vehicle.
Seven airbags, including a first-row center airbag, a rear display room mirror, and 15 active safety features such as a forward collision warning system are applied from the base trim.
Chevrolet has prepared customer events such as test drive events, estimate consultation applications, and giveaways for customers who complete contracts. Detailed information can be found on the Chevrolet website.
