Dongmyeong University Selected as Top-Rated Excellent University for University Job Center Four Consecutive Years

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Duyul] Dongmyung University has been selected for the fourth consecutive year as an "Excellent" university, the highest rating in the Ministry of Employment and Labor's '2021 University Job Center Operation Performance Evaluation.'

The University Job Center project is a government initiative that supports universities with outstanding capabilities in career, employment, and entrepreneurship support to promote employment among local youth.

Dongmyung University operates employment support programs centered on the University Job Center, including ▲innovative employment lectures using a metaverse platform ▲close on- and offline consulting by professional consultants ▲online employment lectures and overseas employment lectures ▲field training at small and medium-sized enterprises ▲employment camps with consulting from a coalition of six universities.

In addition, programs such as female student career lectures, in-depth counseling, AI mock interviews and AI resume consulting, Interview Master, employment clubs, and Good Influencer are also being operated.

Shin Dongseok, head of the University Job Center, said, “Although employment is difficult due to COVID-19, as a ‘prestigious employment university,’ we will provide more effective employment support to enrolled students,” adding, “We will do our best to expand job opportunities for both current students and graduates.”

Earlier, Dongmyung University was also selected last year as an ‘Excellent University in Employment and Entrepreneurship Competency’ in the 2021 Korea University Newspaper University Awards.
