[Asia Economy Reporter Yoon Dong-joo] Lee Jae-myung, the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party of Korea, visited Sinjang Market in Hanam City, Gyeonggi Province on the 25th as part of his Maetabus (weekly bus ride) schedule, appealing for support.
Continuing his tour in Gyeonggi Province, considered the biggest battleground in the presidential election, Lee announced an agricultural pledge in Pocheon on the same day, which includes providing a basic income of 1 million won per person to rural residents, increasing allowances for bankbook holders and village chiefs, and expanding the budget for agriculture, forestry, and fisheries to 5%.
