[Jeongeup=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Jeongeup City in Jeonbuk opened a new space called ‘Shared Store No. 2’ near Saemgoeul Market on Cheonbyeon-ro on the 21st for prospective young entrepreneurs and local creators.
According to the city on the 25th, the Shared Store is a regional revitalization project jointly promoted by Jeongeup City and SK Nexilis to achieve mutual growth in the local community.
It is a space designed to help local creators and young entrepreneurs who create business value by utilizing local resources to secure sales channels and settle in the region.
As the operation period of ‘More & More,’ which moved into the No. 2 store last October, ended, the new tenant became the fragrance shop ‘Aroma Mood’ led by CEO Guk Hyerin.
‘Aroma Mood’ specializes in developing unique fragrance recipes and recently participated in Jeongeup City’s urban regeneration program, developing fragrance products containing Jeongeup’s five scents and operating experience programs.
Aroma Mood plans to provide citizens and visitors with various cultural experience opportunities and widely promote Jeongeup’s distinctive features through product development that contains the potential value of Jeongeup’s attractions and food.
In particular, it will showcase five types of Jeongeup perfumes and various fragrance products, and satisfy the five senses of citizens and visitors through experience programs where they can create their own unique scents.
Aroma Mood is also holding an opening event to celebrate the new start until the end of this month.
The event can be checked through the Join Jeongeup SNS accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Danggeun Market, etc.).
A city official said, “We hope young people can freely pursue their dreams at the Shared Store and gain experience and know-how in store management,” adding, “We will continue to do our best to establish a virtuous cycle structure for building a foundation for mutual growth with private companies in the local community.”
Meanwhile, the Shared Store operates as a pop-up store on a 3 to 6-month basis, and the Shared Store No. 3, in the form of a shared office, is being prepared to open in the first half of this year.
The city and SK Nexilis plan to provide young entrepreneurs with education and consulting to strengthen their independence capabilities, and if it leads to actual startups, they will also support startup funds, gradually expanding the ecosystem for youth entrepreneurship.
