Final Selected Institutions Receive Up to 60 Million KRW in Support Funds and Various Benefits Provided
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Asan Nanum Foundation (Chairman Jang Seok-hwan) announced on the 25th that it is recruiting participating organizations for the program "Nonprofit Startup," which supports the growth of nonprofit organizations established within 10 years.
The Nonprofit Startup growth support program is designed to select and support newly established nonprofit organizations preparing for rapid growth in their projects and organizations. This year, the number of selected organizations will be increased, and the scope of recruitment will be expanded. It includes nonprofit voluntary and private organizations, incorporated associations and foundations, social cooperatives established within 10 years, and even in-house ventures within nonprofit organizations are eligible for support.
Nonprofit startups selected as participating organizations will receive project support funds of up to 60 million KRW, and various expert partners in different fields will provide advisory services to strengthen innovation capabilities. Additionally, assistance will be provided to develop a performance indicator system that can measure the organization's financial and social outcomes. They can also enjoy benefits prepared at Asan Nanum Foundation's Maru.
Applications can be submitted on the Asan Nanum Foundation website for about a month until the 22nd of next month, and the final selected teams will be announced in March after screening. The selected teams can participate in the entire program from April to December. Jang Seok-hwan, Chairman of Asan Nanum Foundation, said, "We were able to officially launch the Nonprofit Startup program this year, which was operated as a pilot last year," adding, "We will spare no effort to provide multifaceted support to discover innovative cases of Nonprofit Startup and share them with many people to spread entrepreneurship within the social sector."
