BORN I.F. Achieves 'Consumer-Centered Management' Certification for 4 Consecutive Times

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Korean food franchise company Bon Appetit F announced that it has obtained the Consumer-Centered Management (CCM) certification for the fourth consecutive time.

The CCM certification is a nationally accredited system that evaluates every two years whether a company organizes and executes all activities centered on consumers and continuously improves them. It is a meaningful achievement as Bon Appetit F was the first Korean food franchise company to obtain the certification in 2015 and has now received it for the fourth time.

In particular, as the certification was renewed, the company’s direction aligned with the CCM’s direction, and each executive, employee, and franchise owner nationwide internalized CCM and focused the company’s capabilities, which was highly evaluated. As a result, after the certification period of 2020 and 2021, the company was recognized as a model company in the re-evaluation at the end of last year.

Despite the difficult business conditions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, during the previous certification period, the headquarters and franchise owners nationwide jointly implemented key activities such as ▲customer-tailored services ▲expansion of delivery services ▲strengthening franchise QSCV (Quality, Service, Hygiene, Brand Value) ▲COVID-19 coexistence activities and hygiene management ▲menu renewal.

It is also evaluated that the company contributed to creating a fair franchise business culture through win-win management with franchise stores. Considering that the prolonged COVID-19 situation could affect franchise operations, the company partially supported delivery platform fees and franchise store supplies. Accordingly, in December last year, it was selected as a ‘Good Franchise’ by the Fair Trade Commission and the Korea Fair Trade Mediation Agency.
