[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] On the 23rd, Hong Joon-pyo, a member of the People Power Party, revealed that "the party has changed a lot" in response to a netizen who said they would not support Yoon Seok-yeol, the People Power Party's presidential candidate.

On the same day, in the 'Cheongmun Hongdap' (Hong Joon-pyo answers the concerns of youth) corner of the online political platform 'Dream of Youth' that he operates, Hong responded to a netizen who suggested, "I never intended to vote for Lee Jae-myung anyway and was going to vote for Yoon Seok-yeol, but after the meeting between candidate Yoon and (Hong), and seeing how the People Power Party is treating Hong, I have decided not to support Yoon Seok-yeol anymore. Rather, as Hong said, it might be better if the People Power Party expels him and joins hands with Ahn Cheol-soo to work for regime change."

Earlier, in the same 'Cheongmun Hongdap' segment, Hong expressed frustration in response to a post stating, "I can only sigh at the absurd primary results and the current corrupt presidential election situation," saying, "As Kwon Young-se said, the 'Yoon Core Group' (key associates of Yoon Seok-yeol) are running amok; it would be more comfortable if they were just expelled. They won't leave on their own."

Meanwhile, Hong also expressed anger over the additional voice recordings of Yoon candidate's wife, Kim Geon-hee. When another netizen asked about the newly released recordings aired on MBC the previous day, saying, "'Did Hong Joon-pyo and Yoo Seung-min also perform gut rituals?' Kim Geon-hee answers 'Yes.' If Hong has never performed gut rituals, isn't this clearly spreading false information?" Hong dismissed this, saying it was "a lie."

He said, "I have never performed gut rituals in my life and I do not believe in shamanism," adding, "It is truly frightening to see lies told so naturally and wonder what will happen later."

Meanwhile, MBC Newsdesk recently reported under the title 'You are a prosecutor's fate'... Advice from a fortune teller at every critical moment?' featuring parts of Kim's phone recordings.

According to the report, Kim told Lee Myung-su, a reporter from Seoul Voice, "In this field, everyone reports to me who performs gut rituals, who goes to fortune tellers, and so on. I have never been to a fortune teller. It's all just talk. Bring me evidence. I don't have any, actually."

When the reporter asked, "Did Hong Joon-pyo also perform gut rituals?" Kim answered, "Yes." When asked additionally, "What about Yoo Seung-min?" she also said, "Yes."
