[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] TRN, which operates the home shopping platform ShoppingNT, announced on the 24th that it held the '2nd Field Training Program Completion Ceremony' as part of an industry-academia cooperation with the Korea Broadcasting Society.
The completion ceremony held at the TRN headquarters was attended by Min Taekgeun, CEO of TRN, Do Junho, President of the Korea Broadcasting Society, Kim Sunmi, General Affairs Director, and other related personnel.
Prior to the ceremony, students participating in the '2nd Field Training Program' experienced on-site training in home shopping broadcast production and product departments. After the field experience, they were divided into two groups and gave presentations on the topics "Sweet Home Shopping: From Discovery Type to Purpose Type" and "Paid Subscription Channel Branding Strategy."
CEO Min said, "I hope the four weeks of the field training program will help the trainees in their social lives," adding, "TRN will continue to communicate with the younger generation and strive to provide them with opportunities for experience."
Meanwhile, the field training program is an industry-academia cooperation program planned by TRN in collaboration with the Korea Broadcasting Society, the first in the data home shopping industry. It was conducted over four weeks starting December 28 of last year. The program is also scheduled to be operated during this year's summer vacation.
