SK Broadband Offers 50% Discount on IPTV and Internet for Long-Term Customers

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] SK Broadband announced on the 23rd that it will run the 'Hoho Event,' which upgrades products at a 50% discounted price for long-term customers, until June. The event targets customers who have used IPTV and high-speed internet for more than 3 years, and the same model of set-top box for more than 5 years.

Set-top box customers who upgrade to the latest set-top boxes such as Smart3, AI speaker-type, or AI Sound Max can use them at a 50% discounted price compared to the regular fee. They can watch all UHD-level content. If upgraded to Smart3, customers can use it for 2,200 KRW per month, which is half the price based on a 3-year contract.

Additionally, a latest rechargeable smart remote control worth 26,400 KRW is provided for free, and dispatch fees are waived. The remote control can operate both B tv set-top boxes and smart TVs.

Customers who have used B tv for more than 3 years can switch to a plan offering more channels by paying only half of the additional amount. For example, a customer using the 9,900 KRW per month B tv Basic plan who upgrades to the 13,200 KRW per month B tv Standard plan only needs to pay 1,650 KRW, which is 50% of the 3,300 KRW difference.

High-speed internet upgrade benefits are also available. Customers who have used 100M optical LAN internet for more than 3 years can upgrade to the '500M Giga Lite + Giga Wi-Fi' plan by paying an additional 2,200 KRW per month. Installation fees are also waived.
