According to the county, a 'Seollal Holiday Comprehensive Plan' will be established and implemented for 14 days from January 20 to February 2.
The county will carry out detailed measures in three major areas and seven initiatives: ▲ prevention of safety accidents such as disasters and calamities ▲ resolving inconveniences in residents' daily lives ▲ having a healthy holiday ▲ vehicle traffic and safety measures ▲ strict establishment of public service discipline ▲ spreading a generous holiday atmosphere of sharing ▲ revitalizing the local economy and stabilizing the livelihood of ordinary citizens.
In particular, to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the county is maintaining a thorough quarantine system by operating screening clinics and organizing quarantine teams, and is also expanding a county-wide movement requesting residents and hometown visitors to refrain from traveling and visiting their hometowns during the holiday period.
Additionally, to ensure a healthy holiday, an emergency medical response situation room will be established and operated, emergency medical institutions and holiday duty pharmacies will be designated and operated, and joint inspections will be conducted on hygiene at food manufacturing and sales businesses during the Seollal peak season.
To prevent various safety accidents such as disasters and calamities during the Seollal holiday, a disaster and calamity response team will be operated, road environment maintenance and snow removal will be carried out, safety inspections of collapse-risk areas will be conducted, safety management of multi-use facilities such as traditional markets and fire-vulnerable facilities will be enforced, safety accident prevention for returning visitors will be promoted, and wildfire prevention measures will be actively implemented.
