Heo Young-sook, CEO of Baramkkot Co., Ltd., Pledges 100 Million Won Donation, Joins 'Honor Society'

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Heo Youngsook, CEO of Baramkkot Co., Ltd., an LG Electronics specialty store, pledged a donation of 100 million KRW to the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea and joined as the 130th member of the "Gwangju Honor Society."

CEO Heo said, "I am happy and grateful that many people congratulated me on the decision to practice sharing today," and added, "This moment, where I promise to share with neighbors, which has been my greatest hope and dream throughout my life, is incredibly joyful."

The Honor Society is a group of high-value individual donors to the Community Chest of Korea. Members qualify by pledging a lump sum or full payment within five years of 100 million KRW or more, aiming to solve local community issues and foster a mature donation culture to promote the development of the social community.
