[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyemin] Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation (SH Corporation) announced on the 21st that it received the highest grade, Grade 1, in the '2021 Public Institution Anti-Corruption Policy Evaluation' conducted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission.
This marks a rise of two grades compared to the previous year and is the first time SH Corporation has achieved the highest grade since it began receiving this evaluation. Among development corporations, only two institutions, including SH Corporation, received Grade 1 in this evaluation.
The evaluation was conducted on 273 institutions, including 124 public service-related organizations, central administrative agencies, metropolitan and basic local governments, provincial offices of education, and national and public universities.
SH Corporation was especially recognized for its efforts in promoting integrity policies in its core business areas such as real estate, construction, and rental housing management last year, receiving high scores in evaluation areas such as establishing anti-corruption promotion plans and efforts to eliminate corruption risks.
Kim Heondong, President of SH Corporation, stated, "We will continue to focus our organizational capabilities on anti-corruption and integrity policies that citizens can feel, striving to become a consistently excellent institution in integrity."
