[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Seoul Shilla Hotel announced on the 21st that it will launch a customized 'Seolcance' package for the Lunar New Year holiday.

The 'Gourmet Holiday' package for couples is themed 'Hotel Fine Dining Enjoyed in the Room.' Guests can enjoy a lunchbox prepared by the hotel chef in their room. The lunchbox consists of 3 to 4 menu items from appetizers to desserts, accompanied by a bottle of red wine.

The lunchbox includes appetizers such as octopus ceviche and tomato bocconcini salad, Korean-flavored dishes like grilled short rib patties, grilled abalone and fried chicken, crab fried rice, and grilled king prawns. For dessert, guests can enjoy the winter season bestseller strawberry shortcake from Seoul Shilla Hotel's 'Pastry Boutique.' Chocolate and macarons are also provided. In addition to the lunchbox, the hotel offers a picnic bag and wine bag, both produced by Shilla Hotel.

The 'Gourmet Holiday,' available for four days from the 29th to the 1st of next month, includes for one night in a Business Deluxe Room: ▲lunchbox set (for 2) and one picnic bag ▲one Shilla wine bag and one bottle of wine ▲book rental benefits at the 19th-floor book lounge (up to 3 books) ▲access to the fitness center and indoor swimming pool (for 2).

Families with young children can use the 'Read & Play Kids' package to access the newly established kids lounge. At the kids lounge, during the Lunar New Year holiday, the picture book play English studio 'Little Soho' offers English storytelling and craft programs. These are available at different times and are designed for children aged 4-6 and 6-9. The teacher reads English picture storybooks vividly, and related post-reading activities (craft programs) allow children to engage with English easily and enjoyably.

The class lasts about 50 minutes, followed by 40 minutes of free use of the kids lounge. The lounge is equipped with bookshelves filled with children's books, a wooden pool made of cypress chips beneficial for sensory development, and natural wooden toys. Only six rooms are allowed per time slot, and disinfection is conducted every 90 minutes.
