On the 21st, production company Take One Studio announced, "We have signed a co-production contract with film company Film Monster to remake the movie 'Let Me In' (2008) into an OTT series," adding, "Filming is scheduled to start in the second half of the year."
'Let Me In' is a fantasy film based on the Swedish novel of the same name, depicting the love and friendship between an ordinary boy and a vampire girl. Since its release in Sweden in 2008, it has won the Tribeca Film Festival Best Feature Film Award and the Edinburgh International Film Festival Rotten Tomatoes Critics Award.
In 2010, it was also remade into a Hollywood film, which helped actress Chlo? Grace Moretz gain recognition.
