KB Kookmin Bank, YouTube Views Surpass 200 Million Celebration Event


[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 20th that the total views of its official YouTube channel have surpassed 200 million.


Kookmin Bank has strengthened its promotion through operating a YouTube channel aimed at the MZ generation, who are familiar with platform usage, as active 'digital communication' with customers has been emphasized and the business environment has rapidly shifted to non-face-to-face interactions.


Additionally, KB Kookmin Bank discovered original content unique to the bank, such as the talk show exclusively for people in their 30s, 'Seoreunman', and the investment entertainment program 'Naejip Marble'. Through consistent channel management, it recorded the highest number of uploaded videos among commercial banks. Notably, out of a total of 1,221 videos, more than 162 were uploaded in 2021, and as of January this year, the number of subscribers has reached approximately 240,000, greatly contributing to the formation of the KB fandom.


Besides the official YouTube channel, KB Kookmin Bank also operates a sub-channel called 'Manibunny'. As the MZ generation's perception of finance and investment changes, the bank continuously attempts communication by producing easy and entertaining financial information content while incorporating expertise in the financial industry.


Meanwhile, to celebrate surpassing 200 million views, a subscriber participation event will be held until the 28th. Among subscribers who subscribe to KB Kookmin Bank's YouTube channel and leave congratulatory messages in the comments, winners will be selected by drawing to receive gift certificates for Paris Baguette or Starbucks.


A KB Kookmin Bank official stated, “We will continue to produce various original content to communicate with the trend-leading MZ generation and secure the KB fandom,” adding, “We will do our best to grow Kookmin Bank’s YouTube into a media platform that provides customers with inspiration, fun, and information.”
