[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Thinkware announced on the 20th that it will launch the portable video device vlog gimbal camera 'Snap-G'.

Snap-G is Thinkware's first gimbal cam (stabilizer) product. It includes various features to allow anyone to easily shoot vlogs and use professional-grade gimbal functions. In particular, it enhances mobility and convenience so that the shooter experiences no discomfort.

According to Thinkware, Snap-G can shoot high-definition 4K 60fps videos. Based on a stabilized hardware control system, it can capture clear images even in low-light environments. Additionally, it is equipped with a 2-inch touch LCD that allows more precise touch control than existing gimbal cam products, enabling users to check both the shooting process and the results immediately.

With a replaceable battery, individual media creators including creators and YouTubers, as well as general users, can shoot for long periods outdoors without separate charging. The 2000mAh battery supports up to 120 minutes of extended shooting. It also features support for memory cards up to 512GB, allowing storage of many photos and videos.

Snap-G boasts the widest ultra-wide-angle field of view among gimbal cams with up to 133.9 degrees wide angle in selfie mode. Based on this wide angle, it can capture all surrounding scenes even in selfie mode. It supports switching between wide-angle mode, linear mode, and narrow-angle mode to create videos with various angles according to the shooter's desired field of view.

Moreover, the introduced ‘AI Tracking’ allows even beginners to capture high-quality videos like professionals by recognizing not only faces but also the upper body, enabling users to shoot travel and outdoor sports videos at a professional level. Through ‘Face ID Tracking,’ Snap-G can recognize up to five registered faces during operation. ‘Face Tracking’ quickly recognizes faces to naturally capture moving subjects without missing any moments.

Snap-G, which implements a 3-axis gimbal system, ensures smooth videos without shaking even during moments of intense movement. Shooters can apply professional video techniques such as slow motion, time-lapse, and hyper-lapse with simple settings. In panorama shooting mode, it supports 180 degrees, 360 degrees, and an even wider 3x3 range vertically and horizontally.

Snap-G is the first gimbal cam to have built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, solving many communication functions and inconveniences that existing customers had to connect for shooting and editing. The price is 453,000 KRW for the Creator Package (basic).

Namkyung Lee, Head of Marketing at Thinkware, said, "Recently, it has become common for anyone to shoot videos and share their daily lives with those around them. We hope customers will freely shoot high-quality videos through Snap-G, which offers reasonable cost-effectiveness and high technology."

To celebrate the launch of Snap-G, Thinkware will provide a gift set worth 110,000 KRW (mini tripod, microphone, backpack mount) to customers who purchase by February 17. Customers who upload reviews on SNS after use will receive a 30,000 KRW Snap-G accessory discount coupon for the iNavi Mall, and those who leave reviews at sales outlets will also receive a screen protector.
