[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Juhee] The number of members in the online fan cafe for Kim Gunhee, spouse of Yoon Seok-yeol, the People Power Party's presidential candidate, has surpassed 29,000. Since MBC's 'Straight' aired a recording of a phone conversation between Kim and a reporter on the 16th, interest in Kim appears to be steadily increasing.

On the 19th, the Naver cafe 'Kim Gunhee Fan Cafe (Geonsarang)' had approximately 29,000 members as of 4 PM. On the 15th, the membership was around 200, but new sign-ups surged sharply immediately after the broadcast of the recorded conversation.

On the main page of the Geonsarang cafe, a photo was posted that superimposed Kim's face onto posters of the movies 'Atomic Blonde' and 'Wonder Woman.' Both films feature the exploits of female protagonists.

The posters included phrases such as "The boldness that silenced the deep-rooted evils, the real girl crush that surprised everyone! The cheerful and confident Kim Gunhee recording," "Overwhelming regime change," and "Wonder Gunhee."

Also included on the poster were parts of Kim's remarks during the phone call with the reporter, where she addressed rumors of cohabitation with a married man, saying, "You received the photo? So what, I don't care," as well as statements like "You have to know that in politics, there are always enemies on your side," and "Cho Kuk's enemy is the Democratic Party." At the bottom of the main page, an image was posted placing a photo of the late Lady Yuk Young-soo alongside Kim's photo.

Meanwhile, on the 16th, Straight reported part of the recorded phone conversation between Kim and a reporter from the YouTube broadcast 'Seoul's Voice.' In the call, Kim candidly expressed her personal views on the Cho Kuk incident and the political Me Too movement, sparking controversy.
