Usage Confirmation on Gyeongnam Office of Education Website
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] In celebration of the Lunar New Year holiday, parking lots at educational administrative institutions and schools across Gyeongnam Province will be open free of charge to residents and returning visitors.
The Gyeongnam Office of Education will provide 608 parking lots at educational administrative institutions and public and private schools throughout the province, except for some schools and institutions where participation is difficult due to construction, from January 29 to February 2, a period of five days.
Use of indoor facilities such as restrooms will be restricted, and information on eligible schools and the opening hours of each school's parking lot can be found on the notice board of the Gyeongnam Office of Education website.
The Gyeongnam Office of Education requested that visitors strictly follow quarantine rules such as wearing masks when using the parking lots to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Hwang Dulsuk, Director of Finance, said, "Although the number of returning visitors is expected to be low due to the special COVID-19 quarantine measures, we have opened the parking lots to alleviate parking difficulties during the holiday. We hope that facilities will be used cleanly without damage so that students' educational activities will not be disrupted after the holiday."
