Mackis Company, Headquarters-Factory Integrated Operation for the First Time in 19 Years

[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Makgeolli Company, a major liquor company in the Chungcheong region, is integrating its headquarters and factory operations. This is the first time in 19 years since 2003.

Makgeolli Company announced on the 19th that it will relocate its headquarters to the ‘Ijeurin’ production factory located in Odong, Seo-gu, Daejeon, on the 21st of this month to operate in an integrated manner.

The Makgeolli Company factory moved from Gasu-won-dong, Seo-gu to Odong in 2001 and has been operating there since. The integration with the headquarters is the first time in 19 years since 2003.

Kim Gyu-sik, CEO of Makgeolli Company, said, "We decided to integrate the headquarters and factory to quickly respond to the rapidly changing management paradigms and consumer culture trends," adding, "We will strive to maximize management efficiency and corporate regrowth through performance-centered operations and strengthening organizational culture following the integration."
