The county plans to designate and operate six hospitals including two emergency medical institutions, 49 clinics, 22 pharmacies, and public health centers as "medical institutions and pharmacies open during the Seollal holiday."

This measure is to prevent gaps in patient care and minimize inconvenience in medical treatment and purchasing medicines.

In particular, centered on the regional emergency medical institutions ▲Hwasun Jeonnam National University Hospital ▲Hwasun Goryeo Hospital, a 24-hour emergency medical system will be maintained to respond promptly to emergency patients and mass casualty incidents.

During late-night hours when it is difficult to visit medical institutions and pharmacies, 29 safety over-the-counter drug sales locations (convenience stores) will sell safety over-the-counter drugs such as antipyretic analgesics and digestive aids.

A public health center official said, "To prevent the spread of COVID-19 during the Seollal holiday, carefully observe whether there are fever or respiratory symptoms, and if COVID-19 is suspected, do not make a judgment on your own but immediately visit the nearest screening clinic first."
