[Asia Economy Reporter Yoon Dong-joo] Lee Jae-myung, the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party of Korea, attended an on-site meeting with virtual asset exchange operators held at the Upbit Lounge in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on the 19th.
At the meeting, Lee listened to the representatives of the four major virtual asset exchanges and experts about industry issues and shared his vision for the necessity of virtual assets, enhancing transparency to protect users, and institutionalizing evaluation and certification systems.
Meanwhile, Lee directly signed up for Bithumb at the event and issued his first small but certain happiness pledge as a non-fungible token (NFT).
