Jang Hana ranked first in popular search terms at the KLPGA Data Center last year.

The most searched keyword by domestic golf fans in the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Data Center. On the 18th, KLPGA announced, "After analyzing last year's popular search terms, Jang Hana (30, BC Card) ranked first." Last season, she became the first in KLPGA Tour history to surpass a total career prize money of 5 billion won and created buzz by breaking the highest prize money record at every tournament. In June last year, she achieved a remarkable record of winning 10 consecutive years on domestic and international tours with her victory at the Lotte Open.

"I never expected it, but I am really happy that golf fans showed great interest," said Jang Hana. "I think it was possible because I set several records with prize money and victories and maintained consistent performance. This year, I will not only aim for wins but also strive to be a player who consistently performs well like last year," she shared her thoughts. Park Min-ji (24, NH Investment & Securities), who swept the season with six wins, earning the prize money crown and the grand prize, ranked second in searches.

Park Hyun-kyung (22, Korea Land & Housing Trust), who successfully defended her title at the major KLPGA Championship for the first time in 39 years, ranked third; ‘Field Goddess’ Yoo Hyun-joo (28, Golden Blue), who is actively participating through golf entertainment, ranked fourth; and Kim Hyo-joo (27, Lotte), who has collected winning trophies both in the U.S. and domestically, ranked fifth. Aside from players, ‘victory’ was the most searched term. Following that were regular tour qualifying, hole-in-one, course record, consecutive wins, and first career victory in order.
