This Time Lee Visits 'Ppomppu'... "Lee Jae-myung Will Deliver Small but Certain Happiness Promises That Deeply Address People's Livelihoods" Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party presidential candidate, posted a message on the online community 'Ppomppu' on the 18th along with a photo. [Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] Lee Jae-myung, the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party of Korea, has been posting 'verification posts' while touring major online communities, and this time he directly posted on 'Ppomppu,' a used goods trading community, drawing attention.

On the 18th at around 1:30 PM, Lee posted a message titled "Hello Ppomppu users, this is Lee Jae-myung" on the political free board within 'Ppomppu.'

He opened by saying, "Recently, I announced the 48th 'So-hwak-haeng' (small but certain happiness) pledge that deeply addresses people's livelihoods. Going forward, to create better pledges and hear more opinions, I am working hard and visiting people through 'Maetaverse' (the weekly livelihood bus) Season 2."

He continued, "However, I still feel it is insufficient," adding, "Since this is the political free board of 'Ppomppu,' I thought you would provide sharp criticism and policy suggestions about how Lee Jae-myung is working, so I stopped by."

The candidate said, "I will listen attentively with a humble attitude," and added, "Government decision-making greatly affects the lives of the people. Therefore, such decisions must be made carefully. In a democratic decision-making process, the voices of the people, who are the primary demanders, must be heard first, supported by expertise and objective data. Also, outdated political ideologies should not take precedence."

Furthermore, he emphasized, "I, Lee Jae-myung, will prioritize and take care of people's livelihoods regardless of ideology or faction," and said, "I will take care of both the So-hwak-haeng pledges that address people's livelihoods and the economic policies that design the future of the Republic of Korea. Lee Jae-myung is doing this for a 'day' when the people can live safely and happily."

Meanwhile, Lee has recently been posting on various online communities such as Bobaedream, Ddanzi Ilbo, DC Inside, and Clien.

However, he once posted on the conservative-leaning online community 'FM Korea' (Femco) but had his post deleted. Last month, he posted on the Femco board, "I was very cautious here because I seemed too unfavorable. Harsh words or mild criticism, anything is fine. I will listen, deeply take it to heart, and reflect it in policy," but the post was deleted by the administrators for violating the rule of 'self-promotion prohibition.'
