[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 18th that it will carry out a small-scale business environment improvement project to alleviate the management burden of small business owners who are struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
The application period for the project is from the 24th to February 11th. Eligible applicants are small business owners who have been in operation for more than six months and are Zero Pay affiliated merchants (same-day applications accepted).
Applicants must submit the application form and required documents to the Economic and Transportation Department of the county office. After screening, only selected small business operators will receive support.
The small business management environment improvement project supports 80% of the facility improvement costs (supply price) per store, with a maximum support of 2 million KRW per business.
The support project is divided into store management environment improvement and promotional support projects.
The store management environment improvement category includes signboard replacement, interior and exterior renovations, restroom improvements, replacement of standing tables, safety and system establishment, and installation of COVID-19 quarantine facilities.
Additionally, the promotional support category includes improvements to existing websites and mobile web, support for promotional design and product packaging, and production of online and offline promotional materials.
