Support Target: 10 Buildings, 50 Million KRW Military Budget Invested
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Haman-gun, Gyeongnam Province, is supporting housing repair costs for households moving in to increase the utilization of vacant houses and attract population inflow within the county.
The county will spend 50 million KRW of public funds to support repair costs for 10 houses, up to 5 million KRW per house, for households moving into vacant houses within the county and settling there.
Eligibility for support includes household heads of two or more persons who have moved to Haman-gun from other regions within the past two years or who can complete their move-in after house repairs.
Applicants must purchase or lease a vacant house for more than three years, receive repair cost support, and maintain their address as residents of the county for at least three years.
Those wishing to apply should submit their seal, ID card, move-in confirmation documents, and housing ownership verification materials to the general affairs officer at the town or township office where the house is located by February 16.
The county plans to select project recipients in March and implement the support project. For more details, inquiries can be made to the Housing Management Officer of the County Urban Architecture Division or the general affairs officer at each town or township office.
A county official stated, “We hope that the housing repair cost support project for moving-in households will help increase our county’s population and provide comfortable homes for incoming households,” adding, “We will do our best to ensure many people live in a pleasant residential environment.”
