[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] On the 13th, a formwork tilting accident occurred at the Jungheung S-Class construction site in Gumi, Gyeongbuk, where Jungheung Construction is the contractor.

The city immediately visited the construction site to assess the accident situation and issued a work stoppage order until emergency on-site restoration is completed.

In addition, the city ordered the complete removal of the tilted formwork along with the connected formwork and rebar, and instructed the full reconstruction of the entire front of the first floor of Building 5 as a preemptive measure against potential future problems.

Jang Se-yong, mayor of Gumi, said, “Since the anxiety and distrust of the prospective residents are significant due to this accident, do your best to prevent recurrence and improve quality regarding the response measures.”
