[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Stars have fallen for the French representative artist Henri Matisse.


Singer Jung Jae-hyung served as the music director for "Henri Matisse: Life and Joy," which opened on the 21st of last month at the Hangaram Art Museum in Seoul Arts Center, presenting two newly composed songs.


The intro video features a lyrical piano melody, and using artificial intelligence (AI), Studio Atek created the media art "Color of Matisse," which brings Matisse's colors to life. Jung Jae-hyung introduced a new song that gives the feeling of traveling back to the time when Matisse was alive.


Additionally, Jung Jae-hyung is in charge of the exhibition's audio docent, introducing Henri Matisse's artistic world to visitors. His audio guide can be heard through Naver's music streaming platform, VIBE.


Actor and painter Park Ki-woong hosted the Naver live shopping for "Henri Matisse: Life and Joy," achieving a record of 450,000 simultaneous viewers. On the 23rd of last month, during the live broadcast, he showcased his drawing skills at the "Becoming Matisse" corner set up in the exhibition hall, captivating viewers with his rich experience and knowledge of art.


The "Hommage to Matisse" project, which includes 16 participants such as Brave Girls member Yujeong, singers Jo Kwon, Shin Yong-jae, Jang Seung-hyun, Kang Hye-ryeon, broadcaster Yoonhoo, actress Kim Ga-eun, and fashion model Lee Hyun-hwa, is also drawing great attention. This project features many stars and artists presenting works reinterpreted with their own thoughts and feelings.


Singer Jo Kwon recently shared the creative process behind his work "I AM," presented in the "Hommage to Matisse" project, through social networking services (SNS). The project also features works by illustrator B.kkal, illustrator zipcy, 3D artist Park Tae-hoon, singer and YouTuber Leo Chun, drag artist Nana Younglong Kim, painter and travel writer Kim Mul-gil, and tattoo artist Ann Rin.

Many stars have been visiting the "Henri Matisse: Life and Joy" exhibition hall. Jo Yeo-jeong, who became a global star through the movie "Parasite," introduced Matisse's quote on her SNS after visiting the exhibition: "I hope people feel the warmth of spring through my work."


Actress So Yoo-jin posted photos taken during her visit to the exhibition with her daughter on her SNS account, and Yang Dong-geun visited the exhibition and enrolled his children in the Kids Atelier program conducted by Joy Museum, a specialized institution for children's art education. Additionally, Kang Min-kyung, a member of the female duo Davichi, also visited the exhibition, continuing the trend of star visits.
