[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Actor Lee Hyun-wook showcased a powerful presence in the film Innocent Witness.

Since its release on the 5th, Innocent Witness has drawn attention for the solid performances of supporting actors including Lee Hyun-wook, Baek Hyun-jin, and Park Jung-beom.

Innocent Witness is a crime investigation drama depicting the dangerous pursuit between Gwangsu-dae ace detective Kang Yoon (Jo Jin-woong), who disregards illegal investigations, and the undercover rookie police officer Min-jae (Choi Woo-shik) assigned to monitor him.

Lee Hyun-wook, known for #Alive (2020), the drama Strangers from Hell (2019), and Mine (2021), plays the role of Kim Sajang in the film. Kim Sajang is a figure connected to the mysterious murder case of Sergeant Lee Myung-joo. As Park Kang-yoon and Choi Min-jae’s investigation narrows in on the truth, the tension intensifies.

Baek Hyun-jin, who has made his mark on both screen and TV with works like Samjin Company English TOEIC Class (2020) and the drama Happiness (2021), appears as the nonchalant loan shark Kwon Ki-an, sharing scenes with Jo Jin-woong.

Additionally, actor and director Park Jung-beom leaves a strong impression playing Choi Dong-soo, the father of Choi Min-jae in the film.
