Bae Doona Reunites with 'Dohee-ya' Director After 8 Years in 'Next Sohee'

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Actress Bae Doona reunited with director Jung Joo-ri of 'Dohee-ya' after 8 years.

On the 17th, Twin Plus Partners announced, "Bae Doona began filming the movie 'Next Sohee' (director Jung Joo-ri) on the 16th."

'Next Sohee' depicts the story of high school student Sohee, who goes on-site for training at a call center and the incidents she experiences, along with detective Yoo-jin, who questions these events. The production is handled by Twin Plus Partners.

Detective Yoo-jin, played by Bae Doona, is a cool-headed detective who retraces each incident, determined to deliver a powerful yet nuanced performance.

This marks the second collaboration between director Jung Joo-ri, whose film 'Dohee-ya' was invited to the Un Certain Regard section at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival, and Bae Doona.
