Pocari Sweat Official Beverage Sponsor of the Professional Basketball All-Star Game On the 16th at Daegu Gymnasium, during the '2021_2022 KGC Ginseng Corporation Jeong Kwan Jang Professional Basketball All-Star Game,' Cho Ik-seong, CEO of Dong-A Otsuka, awarded a prize of 2 million won to player Lee Kwan-hee, the winner of the Pocari Sweat 3-Point Shootout Contest.


[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] Dong-A Otsuka announced on the 17th that Pocari Sweat participated as the official beverage at the ‘2021~2022 KGC Ginseng Corporation Jeong Kwan Jang Professional Basketball All-Star Game’ held at Daegu Gymnasium on the 16th.


The professional basketball All-Star Game, meeting fans for the first time in two years, featured various events and attractions where players and fans interacted. In the ‘Pocari Sweat 3-Point Shoot Contest’ to determine the best shooter in the KBL, Lee Kwan-hee (Changwon LG) defeated Heo Woong (Wonju DB) 19-12 to win the championship.


Dong-A Otsuka awarded a prize of 2 million won to the winner, player Lee Kwan-hee.


Dong-A Otsuka prepared a scoreboard quiz event, cheering event, and Pocari Sweat label separation event for basketball fans attending the All-Star Game. Ten basketball fans who participated in the scoreboard quiz and cheering events on-site were given Pocari Sweat goods kits as a token of appreciation.


Additionally, to inform basketball fans about the correct method of separating transparent PET bottles and labels for disposal, the ‘Pocari Sweat Label Separation Event’ was held.


The ‘Pocari Sweat Label Separation Event’ involved separating the Pocari Sweat label from the transparent PET bottle and then throwing the cap into a basketball hoop; if scored, a prize was awarded. Dong-A Otsuka planned this event to promote resource recycling and environmental protection messages in daily life through a unique experience.


Meanwhile, Dong-A Otsuka plans to support six local school basketball teams in Daegu, where the All-Star Game was held in cooperation with the KBL, with Pocari Sweat and sports equipment worth 10 million won.
