[Asia Economy Reporter Naju-seok] Kim Gun-hee, spouse of Yoon Seok-yeol, the People Power Party's presidential candidate, was able to significantly dispel the 'Julie allegations' through the 7-hour phone call controversy.
According to MBC's 'Straight' on the 16th, in a phone call with Lee Myung-soo, a reporter from 'Seoul Voice,' Kim said, "I have never been Julie," and added, "(Those who raise the allegations) should keep giving interviews. The more they speak, the more errors will occur."
Regarding the so-called Julie allegations that she worked as a hostess at a nightclub in the past, she said, "I have a personality that dislikes going to nightclubs," and "During such times, I am a spiritual person who prefers reading books and talking with mystics about what life is."
Kim said, "What kind of mother would do that to her own daughter?" and "Those who say such things will be punished." She continued, "My mother is wealthy and has no reason to sell her own daughter," and "Because these stories are absurd, they are even more disgusting."
When the topic of allegations about cohabiting with a current prosecutor and the existence of photos was brought up, Kim said, "Even if there are photos, it doesn't matter," and "It was a package tour, so it's actually good. The prosecutor's wife knows everything. Originally, she was supposed to go together, but couldn't because of a schedule in the United States." She added, "If it comes out, even better," and "People misunderstand things."
