3809 New COVID-19 Cases Nationwide Reported by 9 PM

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Soyeon] As of 9 PM on the 14th, the number of new COVID-19 cases nationwide reached the high 3,000s.

According to the quarantine authorities, Seoul Metropolitan Government, and other local governments, from midnight to 9 PM on the same day, a total of 3,809 confirmed cases tested positive for COVID-19 across 17 cities and provinces nationwide.

This is 184 fewer than the 3,993 cases recorded at the same time the previous day, but 825 more than the 2,984 cases recorded at the same time one week ago on the 7th.

Since there is still time until midnight when the count is finalized, the number of new confirmed cases to be announced on the 15th is expected to increase further to the 4,000 range.
