There is an apartment brand whose value is rising day by day as complexes supplied nationwide continue to sell out. The brand 'Forena,' launched by Hanwha Construction in 2019, is the protagonist.


The Swedish word 'Forena' means 'connection.' It is a brand name that embodies Hanwha Construction's commitment to creating a new residential culture through the 'connection between people and space.' This brand identity, combined with Hanwha Construction's excellent design and luxury features, has created a synergy effect, allowing 'Forena' to successfully establish itself in the market and become a highly preferred apartment brand among consumers.


From the initial launch of the brand, Hanwha Construction boldly excluded the symbol marks adopted by most other apartments. Instead, they introduced a wordmark form, adding sophistication and scalability. Notably, the combination of 'Forena Blue,' symbolizing trust and confidence, and black, representing authority and charisma, has imprinted a luxury image that draws attention.


It is also noteworthy that Hanwha Construction has continuously developed and announced differentiated products across all residential product aspects, including product and design concepts. The popular exterior color design 'Forena Signature Skin' and gate (entrance) design 'Forena Face' among customers have been registered for design rights, allowing exclusive use only for Forena products. This has further enhanced rarity and value.


Hanwha Construction's multifaceted efforts have borne fruit with the sell-out streak of 17 newly supplied complexes nationwide since the launch of 'Forena' in August 2019. Starting with Forena Jeonju Eco City, Forena Luwon City, Forena Busan Deokcheon, Forena Suwon Jangan, Forena Cheonan Sinbu, and Forena Pohang have recorded the highest subscription competition rates in their respective regions, receiving high responses from consumers.


Moreover, complexes previously supplied under the name 'Kkum Egreen' have also seen a significant increase in inquiries and applications for brand name changes. In fact, in 2021, 'Forena Dongnae' and 'Forena Gwanggyo Sanghyeon' completed brand changes. Including the approximately 15,000 Forena units currently supplied and the units to be supplied or rebranded this year, it is expected that about 40,000 Forena units will be established within this year.


With the brand successfully settling in the market and becoming synonymous with high-end residential facilities among consumers, attention is focused on 'Hanwha Forena Pohang 2nd Phase,' supplied by Hanwha Construction (construction) and Samdo Housing (development) in Hakcheon-ri, Heunghae-eup, Buk-gu, Pohang-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do.


This complex is a follow-up supply to 'Hanwha Forena Pohang,' which attracted the most applicants in Buk-gu, Pohang-si, last April. 'Hanwha Forena Pohang,' supplied in the Iin District urban development project in Heunghae-eup, Buk-gu, Pohang-si, attracted 11,309 applicants due to expectations for the large-scale new residential belt consisting of about 18,000 households including Pentacity, Seonggok District, Iin District, and KTX New Town District. Accordingly, this complex is also expected to receive high interest from consumers.


'Hanwha Forena Pohang 2nd Phase' consists of 6 buildings ranging from 2 basement floors to a maximum of 25 floors above ground, with a total of 350 households, all of which are a single housing type with a preferred exclusive area of 84㎡.


The complex is an eco-friendly complex located in front of Hakrimcheon Stream, allowing residents to enjoy the pleasantness of the waterfront nearby, which is expected to result in high residential satisfaction.


The excellent transportation network is also noteworthy. Adjacent to KTX Pohang Station, it takes about 30 minutes to Dongdaegu and about 2 hours and 30 minutes to Seoul. The promotion of the KTX Pohang~Suseo Station line is expected to greatly improve access to the Gangnam area of Seoul. Additionally, with the scheduled opening of the Pohang~Gyeongju~Ulsan~Busan EMU high-speed train this year, travel to Busan will be possible within 80 minutes.


Yeongilman-daero, National Road No. 28, and National Road No. 7 are close to the complex, enabling convenient access to major areas around Pohang. Using Seonggok IC, it is easy to enter and exit the Iksan-Pohang Expressway. The construction of a new urban planning road between Changpo-dong and Heunghae Seonggok is also planned.


Road construction is planned near the complex, including the Yeongdeok-Pohang Expressway section from Uhyeonsa Intersection to Iin District, which will make city travel more convenient. Furthermore, the complex is located at the center of the northern new residential belt, which is highly valued for its future potential.


A new supply complex in a non-regulated area attracting consumer attention, free from various regulations

Buk-gu, Pohang-si, where 'Hanwha Forena Pohang 2nd Phase' is located, is a non-regulated area. Unlike regulated areas, it offers freedom in subscriptions and loans, and there are no resale restrictions, which is expected to attract high interest from investment demand. New supply complexes in non-regulated areas are gaining attention as the burden on homebuyers is relatively low, so 'Hanwha Forena Pohang 2nd Phase' is also expected to show a hot subscription fever.


In particular, the previously supplied Hanwha Forena Pohang attracted about 10,000 applicants, the highest in Buk-gu, Pohang, so the second phase is also expected to receive much attention.


The model house for 'Hanwha Forena Pohang 2nd Phase' is scheduled to open on January 21.
