Become a Future Talent Through Lifelong Learning... Kim Taekyung, Director of Dong-Eui Institute of Technology, Receives Minister of Education Award

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Kim Taekyung, head of the Future Lifelong Education Industry Division at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology, received a commendation from the Minister of Education for his contributions to the revitalization of lifelong education.

Since being appointed as a professor in the Department of Nursing at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology in 2012, Kim Taekyung has served in key positions such as director of the university lifelong education center and head of the Future Lifelong Education Project Group, playing a significant role in transitioning the university's lifelong education system and establishing an adult learner-friendly education system.

Since 2019, he has carried out the university lifelong education system support project (LiFE), jointly hosted by the Ministry of Education and the National Institute for Lifelong Education. He was highly praised for systematically establishing and promoting differentiated promotional strategies targeting adults and for his role as the chair school of the National Junior College LiFE Project Group Council in promoting this nationwide project.

Kim Taekyung stated, “With the advent of the 4th Industrial Revolution era and the extension of average lifespan, the demand for lifelong education among adult learners continues to increase. We will prepare systematic higher vocational education and create a learner-friendly environment within the university to foster regional development and nurture future talents.”
