BTE Signs Business Agreement with Fortress UAV ... "Entering the Global Hydrogen Mobility Market"

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] BTE, a specialized manufacturer of integrated hydrogen charging equipment, is accelerating its global market entry, focusing on the North American region, the largest market for hydrogen mobility.


On the 12th, BTE announced that it signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with Fortress UAV, a U.S.-based customer technical support and maintenance company, through CES2022, the world's largest IT electronics exhibition.


Through this business agreement, BTE plans to collaborate with Fortress in various service areas including logistics and warehouse management, regular maintenance, customer service, and technical support, aiming to enter the global market including North America.


Established in November 2020, BTE develops charging equipment for small hydrogen mobility. BTE's hydrogen charging equipment can be used in a small area of 1.3 square meters, and is expected to be utilized diversely in the hydrogen charging market. The company’s strategy is to target the small charging equipment market by emphasizing product convenience, safety, and price competitiveness.


Fortress is a specialized company in drone operation services for corporate and public safety institutions. It has extensive experience in drone-related professional services and engineering, including logistics, drone management, on-site and technical support services, repair, and maintenance.


Brendon Mills, CEO of Fortress, said, “We are pleased to enter the hydrogen mobility industry, recognized as a future core industry, together with BTE,” and added, “We will strengthen our partnership to help BTE successfully enter the North American market.”


Sim Gyu-jeong, CEO of BTE, expressed his ambition, saying, “Starting with CES2022, we will actively participate in global exhibitions to showcase our technology to the global market,” and “We will expand our business into various mobility areas, including hydrogen mobility charging equipment, based on this agreement.”
