Jin Air Launches New Gimpo-Sacheon Route... Operates Twice Daily

[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Jin Air announced on the 12th that it will launch a new Gimpo~Sacheon route starting from the 28th.

Jin Air will operate the Gimpo~Sacheon route with a 189-seat B737-800 aircraft, running two round trips daily.

The Gimpo~Sacheon flights depart from Gimpo Airport daily at 9:05 and 18:40, arriving at Sacheon Airport at 10:05 and 19:40 respectively. Flights from Sacheon depart daily at 10:40 and 20:15 for Gimpo Airport. Tickets for the Gimpo~Sacheon route can be booked through the Jin Air website and mobile web/app.

To commemorate the new service at Sacheon Airport, Jin Air is holding a Delight Popup Store event offering discounts until the 21st. The event applies to domestic flights operating between the 28th and February 28th.

A first-come, first-served event is also underway, providing an immediate 5,000 KRW discount exclusively for domestic flights to 2,022 customers using KakaoPay in celebration of the New Year.

Jin Air stated, "With the opening of this air route connecting the metropolitan area and the western Gyeongnam region, we expect improved transportation convenience for local residents," adding, "We will continue various marketing activities to revitalize the southern coastal tourism industry by generating potential air travel demand."
