CJ Freshway Launches ‘Bongchu Jjimdak’ RMR Product

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] CJ Freshway announced on the 12th that it will exclusively showcase the franchise specialty store 'Bongchu Jjimdak' menu developed as an RMR product on GS SHOP live broadcast on the 13th.


The Bongchu Jjimdak RMR product is praised for replicating the exact taste enjoyed at the store, featuring tender and soft domestic chicken meat soaked in sweet soy sauce, chewy glass noodles, and crunchy vegetables. It is especially packaged in 350g small portions, allowing 1-2 person households to enjoy meals without burden.


Celebrating its 22nd anniversary this year, Bongchu Jjimdak is a brand selected as a World-Class Product by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and as a Good Franchise by the Fair Trade Commission. CJ Freshway utilized its food safety management and commercialization capabilities to preserve Bongchu Jjimdak's original recipe, and entrusted manufacturing to its partner Harim, which has both quality and production capacity for chicken, securing product safety.


A CJ Freshway official stated, “By launching an RMR product with solid product competitiveness in the fiercely competitive meal kit market, we aim to provide customers with a new gourmet experience and create new growth opportunities for small and medium franchise companies needing business support, achieving mutual success.”
