Shinsegae Construction is set to launch 'Villiv Myeongji Duclass,' a residential officetel complex, in Myeongji International New City, Gangseo-gu, Busan, this coming February. Residential officetels offer similar product configurations to apartments but are relatively free from subscription and loan regulations.
Residential officetels typically feature floor plans comparable to small-to-medium-sized apartments with exclusive areas of 59㎡ or more. Unlike apartments, which have strict subscription qualifications and point calculations, anyone aged 19 or older can apply for subscription nationwide without a subscription savings account, making it relatively less burdensome. As a result, they continue to be popular, especially among newlyweds and the 2030 generation who face difficulties overcoming the entry barriers to apartments.
Recently, specialized designs such as pantries and alpha rooms, along with landscaping, community facilities, and cutting-edge systems identical to those in apartments, have been introduced, enhancing residential comfort. Consequently, the sales market has seen high subscription competition rates and sold-out streaks, with some complexes experiencing competition rates of several thousand to one due to increased interest.
Amid the sustained popularity of residential officetels, the 'Villiv Myeongji Duclass' to be supplied in Busan’s Myeongji International New City will be a large-scale residential officetel complex with a total of 1,083 units across phases 1 to 4. All units will consist of a single exclusive area of 84㎡, which is highly preferred by consumers.
Villiv Myeongji Duclass is located in a prime spot within Myeongji International New City, a completed new city and a key residential area in western Busan, offering convenient residential infrastructure.
